Great Racing at The Donington Demon
The Burton & Leicester club ran the Donington Demon at the Donington Race Course on 9th September.

The most exciting clash of the day came in the 350cc Solos. British Champion Andy Mellish and Georgie Wood passed and passed again. Wood took the win with Mellish second, third went to Richard Reed.

In the 250 Clash youngster Luke Harris gave David Knowles a real scare before the 2004 British champion ultimately took the win. Third went to Trevor Clarricoates.

In the vintage classes Luke Tuck took three wins, with Kenny Blain, Kim Greatrix, Dave Lambert, Steve Dowling, Frank Yates and Tim Greig taking the others.

In the Youth classes Sophie Flint, Jake Mulford, Max Brown, Max Perry, George Hopper, Liam Cox, Sam Woolley, George Hopper and Jake Smithson were all successful.

The Pre 75 British Championship on the Sunday was cancelled due the bad weather. It is to be re-run at the same venue on 6th September.
