The eighth event in the British Sidecar Trials Championship took place on Sunday at Backwell where son and father team of Rupert and Chris Kimber won the Expert class on the Phil Sparkes designed thirty eight section course.
Martin Bracey assisted Mr Sparkes in official duties. The Rochester riders had eight mark to spare when they completed the course over Bristol former British Champions Jon Tuck and Matt Sparkes. Reigning British Champions Robin and Sam Luscombe ended the event in third place scoring fifteen championship points.
Bristol pairing Dave Tuck and Steve Chandler won the Inter class after a tiebreaker decider over Daryl Dale and girlfriend Hannah Etherington.
Seventeen crews contested the Clubman category where Bradford team Nigel Scott and passenger Jay Ashley-Hall won from Paul Churchill and Kevin Parnell with Robbie Head and Aaron Jacobs in third place.
The Mansfield Maun M.C.C. will stage Round Nine at Winster, Derbyshire on June 16.
