At the recent Rene Pearce Trial hosted by the Torridge and District MCC Michael Brown took his first victory of the season to break the winning record of James Dabill. Dabill two year winning record started in 2009 at the Rene Pearce event and ended at the Rene Pearce Trial in 2011. The Gas Gas UK rider Michael Brown took a very comfortable win and was truly in a league of his own as he took the victory over James Dabill in second and Ross Danby in third. The event was held in very tricky and testing conditions.
Local rider Ricky Wiggins pulled away in the Expert A championship as did Richard Timperley in the Expert B as both had wins on the day. In the Youth class Bradley Cox continues to impress with yet another win.
