Sadly, Pam Miller died on Sunday 20th November after a short illness. Although Pam had been unwell in the past, she had made a full recovery and this news was most unexpected.
Pam joined the ACU in 1965 and worked continuously for the Company until her retirement in July 2004. She started work in the Off-Road department and gradually worked her way up to the position of General Secretary and on retirement, Pam became an active member of the ACU Benevolent Fund. Pam was extremely well known and respected throughout the ACU and motorcycle sport in general and she will be sadly missed by all. Our deepest sympathies go to her partner John, family and friends.
Roy Hanks, Chairman of the ACU Benevolent Fund said it was with great sorrow to hear the news of the passing of Pam, her depth of knowledge was valued by all in the ACU and she will be greatly missed.
As soon as details of the funeral arrangements are available, these will of course be made known to all.
