Vacancies at Nora-Mx Quad racing events 2012 (10 Events)
All vacancies can be combined or amended to suit the applicant
Start Gate Operator - £80 per race day
We need a proficient and reliable person to organise competitors in the waiting zone prior to each race, oversee them lining-up behind the start gate, operate the start gate, and assist with the packing away of the gate and other equipment at the end of an event. There are normally 21 races per event. Training will be given.
Trailer towing & Storage - £100 per event
We need a proficient and reliable person to take custody of the start gate trailer, bring the gate trailer on the day prior to an event, oversee the erection, testing, packing away and towing off of the gates. Ideally you can store the gate trailer on your own safe premises. However, it can be collected from and dropped back in Oxford, if required.
HGV Driver - £125 per event
We need a reliable person to drive the club’s timing lorry, (Class 2 HGV). You will be required to collect the vehicle from Oxford, take it to the venue the morning prior to an event day, then assist with equipment set up for about three hours. At the end of the event you will assist in packing away the equipment and return the timing vehicle to Oxford.
Paddock Manager - £150 per event
We need a reliable person to manage the race paddock, duties will include security, parking, collecting camping fee's, maintaining control of spectators & competitors safety, ensuring the venue is kept & left clean & tidy, enforcing the clubs zero tolerance policy for behavior & rubbish. Approx working hours are Saturdays late afternoon & evening followed by all day Sunday (race day)
