Dougie Lampkins Last Stand - Podium?? Maybe!!!
The 2012 Sheffield Arena Trial will be taking place at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday 7th January, although the best riders in the World will be competing at Sheffield the event will not be a round of the 2012 FIM World Championship.
The international lineup includes; the awesome Repsol Montesa mounted double World Champion Toni Bou, World number two and Gas Gas number one Adam Raga, crowd pleaser and ex World Champion Takahisa Fujinami (Repsol Montesa) and Jeroni Fajardo, what will he be riding?????
The best of the Brits include back to back British Champion James Dabill (Beta), World number six Michael Brown (Gas Gas), last year’s new boy Jack Challoner (Beta) who was actually in the lead at last year’s event for a short time. Last but definitely not least Dougie Lampkin MBE, this will be Doug’s 17th and last performance at Sheffield, he will be the only rider in tonight’s line-up to have appeared at every event so far, he really is the King of Sheffield.
The half time entertainment this year is going to lift the roof, but its top secret, if you want to be a part of it you will have to be there!
