British Solo Trials Championship on Max Power

At the end of the September the East South Wales Centre hosted the penultimate round of the 2011 ACU Events British Trials Championship. The Mitchell Memorial Trial was a huge success and was also being filmed for Television broadcast by Greenlight TV.

Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship 2012 date announcement

10-round series held over five weekends, running from February to June


GMC Events are pleased to announce the dates of the 2012 Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship, which will be a 10-round series run over five weekends. Following a similar template to the 2011 championship next year’s series will run during the first half of the year, beginning in mid February and finishing in mid June.

Sunday saw the 4th round of the EMG/Kia Eastern Centre Solo Enduro Championships organised the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club at Foxborough Quarry Sible Hedingham. Conditions were perfect with a clear blue sky, sun and a mild cool breeze in the morning. All three Classes are closely contested with the Championship Class showing Jamie Roper leading current Champion Chris Hockey by six points at the start of the day and everything to ride for what will be the outcome of the end of the day?

You know the season is drawing to a close when South Hants Scramble Club host the annual Bill Turner and Wally Searle meeting at Binsted. Beautiful autumn sunshine greeted the competitors and good close racing entertained the crowd, including a tiger and zebra clad Neil Franks and Ryan Humphrey!

CJSC BYMX TEAM CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to Cambridge CJSC for winning the ACU BYMX TEAM EVENT as they took the lead from race 1 and fended off the challenges from the Scottish Terriers snapping at their heals all the way down to the last race as Scotland never gave up the battle. The passionate and committed Irish battled with dedicated Cumbria to take the final Podium spot.
Eastern Centre Championship Finale at Blaxhall

This weekend the Woodbridge and DMCC played host to the final round of the Eastern Centre Motocross Championship at the fantastic Blaxhall Circuit. With two championship titles up for grabs on the day and the added excitement of Jake Nicholls competing in the Expert class the scene was set for some great racing in the October sunshine.

Back on Saturday October 15th the final round of the 2011 Phoenix Tools Premier Motocross Championship took place at Ladram Bay Holiday Park, but unfortunately with no rain in the South West leading up to the event dust was to become a bit of a problem and organisers decided that the conditions were to bad for safety reasons that they would only run two blocks of racing instead of three, but never the less there was still some exhilarating racing to be seen to thrill the many spectators in attendance.

This Saturday (yes Saturday October 15th) the final round of the 2011 Phoenix Tools Premier Motocross Championship is to take place at Ladram Bay, Nr Otterton in Devon. Even though the MX1 Championship has already been won by John May there is still plenty of action to be seen as Luke Hill on the Maunders Racing Honda only has a slender 42 points advantage over Belgium rider Maarten Cremers on the Phoenix Tools CCM for runner up spot and also lining up will be the likes of Sam Chapman, Luke Blanchard, Ben Harmon, Kelvin Townsend, James Kensington, Ross Keyworth plus many others.
TEAM GB (ALMOST) REIGN IN SPAIN

Under cloudless skies the 6th Supermoto of Nations took place at the awesome Motorland race complex in Aragon Spain. Against all the odds Team GB achieved their best ever result finishing 2nd behind the favourites France. The Junior Under 21 team also put in a strong performance winning the B final to qualify for the main race.

The final round of the 2011 Maxxis British sidecarcross championships was hosted by the Halstead & DMCC at their Little Loveney Hall circuit, Wakes Colne. After last years rather dusty meeting the club had been watering every evening since last Wednesday and the track looked to be suitably damped down by Saturday.
David Knight Fights Hard For Sixth Weston Win At RHL Beach Race

After an intense fight for three-hours around the grueling dune course, three time World Champion David Knight (MBE) took an emphatic win today at the Monster Energy fuelled RHL Beach Race at Weston-Super-Mare, after a battle which saw a number of riders take the lead throughout the super-tough race.

This weekend saw John Mitchell clinch the 2011 ACU Goldspeed British Quadcross Championship title at the ACU Events organised final round held at Milton Park MX track. Going into the round onboard his ATV World Yamaha 450, Mitchell needed to take four points to keep ahead of his only title contender Paul Holmes in an extended round, covering three races and with a maximum of 75 points.

We this was the final showdown when the British Trials Championships were decided. After six months over eight rounds the ACU Events sponsored series drew to a fitting climax at the Red Rose Trail at Back Cowm Quarry just outside of Rochdale.
British Sidecar Championship from Canada Heights

The penultimate round of the 2011 Maxxis Sidecarcross championships was held at the Sidcup club’s Canada Heights circuit yesterday. With record temperatures being recorded on Saturday just a few miles away at Gravesend it was going to be survival of the fittest for the riders whilst the club had the problem of controlling dust under the scorching sun. As it turned out the club did an excellent job of controlling the dust with just a just a small amount being kicked up in the final race of the day.
Luscombe wins Australian championship events

Leeds garage owner Robin Luscombe won the two day Australian Sidecar Championship staged near Adelaide on Sunday and Monday. The Cullingworth multi British sidecar trials champion jetted to Australia immediately after the Yeadon-Guiseley clubs’ Mel Harrison national trial at Pateley Bridge on September 26 landing in Adelaide late on Tuesday night with his wife Jennifer.
British Supermoto Silverstone Rd8

Round Eight of the British Championship took place at the Silverstone Circuit along with the British Superbike Championship with some of the BSB boys popping down to the Stowe Circuit to watch the racing. Unlike the support racing for the GP weekend in June when the circuit remained wet, round eight would see favourable weather for the riders all weekend and see some spectacular racing with only one round remaining a couple of the championships were claimed at this round. Next on the calendar for some will be Supermoto Des Nations followed a week later with a strong contingent of British Riders in the Superbiker Event at Mettet
