This coming weekend will celebrate the twenty-eighth edition of the FIM Trial des Nations, as the longstanding annual event arrives in the northern town of Tolmezzo, Italy.
In the Men’s event the British team will be looking for top honour’s. For 2011 the team will consist of Dougie Lampkin, James Dabill, Michael Brown and Jack Challoner with Martin Lampkin acting as team manager.
Also taking place at the event in Tolmezzo will be the Women’s Trials Des Nation event and for 2011 Becky Cook, Emma Bristow and Hannah Styles will be looking to go one better in the event. After narrowly missing out on the win last year by one point and winning the year before by one point the competition with the Spanish will be fierce. The girls have upped their game again this year and will all be out in force to regain the Trials Des Nations trophy again this time around.
It is hoped that with the guidance and support of the fellow riders and team managers, that both the Men’s and Women’s teams can produce strong results in the 2011 Trial des Nations.
