Following the opening round of the 2011 SPEA World Trials Championship just 7 days previous, it was the turn of the French World Championship for round two. Unfortunately Dougie Lampkin had to withdraw from the event due to his current ankle injury, following the recent Scottish Six Day Trial.
At the end of the opening day it was James Dabill on his Beta who led the British hopes in sixth place with Michael Brown just behind in seventh place. Twenty year old Jack Challoner continued his progress in the Pro class finishing in ninth place at the end of day one.
In the Youth Class Jack Sheppard on his Beta machine took yet another win ahead of home rider Cedric Tempier.
On the second day of the French SPEA World Trials Championship it was to be Jack Challoner that produced a superb result to finish in seventh place, ahead of both his fellow compatriots, Michael Brown in eighth place and James Dabill in ninth place. After two rounds of the championship James Dabill currently sits in sixth position ahead of Michael Brown in seventh and Jack Challoner in ninth place.
The second day of the Youth Championship saw Jack Sheppard again take the win despite riding with a wrist injury, still managed to finish nine points clear of second place Giacomo Saleri and now holds a thirteen point lead in the Championship.
