This year’s Top Gun MX Championship now has five confirmed rounds. The competition, won in its inaugural year by Tim Greig, gets underway in 2011 as part of the Yorkshire YGTJRC meeting on May 8th at Upper Cumberworth., with round two following at the Cheshire GTC fixture on June 19th at Congleton.

Last Sunday’s British Masters Qualifiers at Washaway saw Paul Johnson/Kevin Woodley and Mark Simmonds take the respective Sidecar and Solo wins. The colourful character Paul Johnson was crowded the winner and the top qualifier for Lydden in August
On the 1st April the clubs within the Isle of Man Centre came to for an awards and fund raising evening at the Douglas Legion Club. With around 150 people in attendance for the evening, a good night was had by all.
The Wainfleet club run their first event of 2011 at Irby in the Marsh on Sunday May 1st. Solo and sidecar racing at this International venue near Skegness off the Wainfleet to Splsby Road. The event is a qualifying round for the British 500cc championship.
