“The Road Race Drag and Sprint Committee has noted an error in 2011 ACU Handbook, Capacity and Licence Restrictions page 273, with regard to the categories of machine for 14 year old National licence holders. Two categories of machine are missing from the table.

Full house for defending champion at Cadwell

Rounds 3 & 4 of the 250 GP National Championship headed for riders favourite Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire on 16th 17th April, where the 2010 Champion Andrew Sawford kicked off his title defence with an immaculate show. Chippenham’s Paul McCullagh also pulled off a stunning double victory in the NG Cup as well.
Isle of Man Club’s raise £3500 for the Benevolent Fund

On the 1st April the clubs within the Isle of Man Centre came to for an awards and fund raising evening at the Douglas Legion Club. With around 150 people in attendance for the evening, a good night was had by all.

With the Country basking in the unusual Easter temperatures race fans at the Darley Moor Motor Cycle Club’s meeting were treated to some red hot race action to match. The Pre 98 Championship got the action underway for Round 2 on Bank Holiday Monday and immediately set the scene for a superb meeting.

Triumph Motorcycles has launched a unique new talent scheme to turn promising young riders into the UK’s racetrack stars of tomorrow. Known as Triumph Young Guns, the competition is open to all amateur ACU-licensed riders aged between 15 and 23.

The second Round of Darley Moor Motorcycle Road Race Club’s championship is due to take place on Easter Monday, 25th April 2011 and you can be sure it will be much more entertaining than the usual offer of Bank Holiday sport on the TV. With a full day’s entertainment for just £11 per adult (Senior Citizens £6 and children under 16 years of age free, parking & paddock transfer free, with
Programmes £3.00) it is also much cheaper than an afternoon in the local pub garden.

Pre TT Classic Entries Over Subscribed Results in Extra Races Due to the response for applications to race in the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races the organising Southern 100 Club have decided to add an additional two races to the race programme. The programme has been changed to allow for a Support Race for oversubscribed Entries from the 250cc Lightweight, 350cc Junior, 500cc Senior and Post Classic Races. This Race will be over the same distance 9 laps as the original ....

With fantastic spring weather and an all new purpose built supermoto track at the Silverstone Circuit, the rider’s skills were tested at the first round of the British Supermoto Championship. The riders complemented the demanding, technical but flowing circuit which was complemented with a good off road section with a suitable jump to match and most riders settled quickly into their groups. The quality of racing throughout the weekend was a fitting start for the opening round of the season for a title championship.
