Saturday 29th January saw the ACU hold the annual Awards Presentation at the Park Inn Hotel in Northampton. The whole day was well attended with around 500 people in attendance during the course of the day. With the Youth awards taking place at lunchtime, as the stars of the future, from Motocross, Quad Racing, Grass Track and Trials all celebrating their season’s achievements.

2011 Youth Grass Track Racing in Europe
Rob Fortune has joined forces with the Track Racing Committee in a bid to give youth riders more opportunities to race in Europe. The much respected veteran racer is attempting to gather together a team of youth riders to race primarily in 250 and 125cc events on the continent, and has agreed to act as a team manager for British youngsters taking part. The Danebury club run the first Grasstrack of 2011 at Lower Manor farm Stockbridge on Sunday the 9th January.
The event is in aid of the Isle of Wight and Hampshire air ambulance and includes solos, Quads and sidecars, youth and adult. Riders are requested to wear fancy dress for this fun start to the new year.
