The meeting will be dedicated to former rider and club president A.C.(Monty) Banks who passed away earlier this year.
Many of Monty's former track rivals will be in attendance, with Reg Luckhurst, Alf Hagon, Don Godden, Denys Goodacre, Tony Black, John Britcher, Joe Hughes, Peter Randall and Joseph Joy having already accepted invitations.
Sidecar stars from the past invited include Gerry Wheeler, Ron Young and the Mick Webster/Jonny Justice partnership who won the national championships at Rhodes in 1967.
Interval attractions will include a series of races between Trevor Banks, Mark Loram, Jeremy Doncaster and John Britcher.
The colourfull startline girls headed by Lydia Penfold will be in attendance as well as The Somerset Pitbox Babes.
Roger Measor will make sure the meeting runs smoothly as Clerk of the Course while photography will be handled by Alan Whale and Ron Hinsley.
Premier commentator Jim Head will be manning the mike with commentary and results, with Dave Stallworthy interviewing the riders from the past and will be in the pits during racing.
Beer tent on Saturday night will feature live Sky coverage of the Speedway World Team Cup Final.
On Saturday afternoon The Lord Whiskey Sanctuary will be running a boot fair at the track and on Friday night their tea rooms will be open for fish & chip suppers. For those with early morning hunger, they will also be doing cooked breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday.
For those not wanting to camp at the track, Fir Tree Farm (250 yards from the track)will be opening their campsite during the weekend with all facilities available.
