After meeting with members of the ACU Motocross Committee last week, Steve Dixon the Team Manager has announced a short list of five possible riders for the 2010 MX of Nations to be held at the end of September.

World Class Riders For Wrangway

Sunday the 27th of June will see all roads lead to the South West for a double helping of British Championship racing, Broadhembury MCC promoting round three of the 2010 GOLDSPEED ACU British Quad Championship in conjunction with the 5th round of the 2010 MAXXIS British Sidecarcross Championship, the action taking place at the superb Wrangway circuit near Wellington.

With an entry list in both classes that includes record-breaking multiple British Champions, a current European Champion and many of the best riders currently competing at European and World level, the stage is set for a spectacular days racing.

Express British Youth Motocross at Dean Moor

With the Express Insurance BYMX Championship series about to reach the half way point all thoughts are now being focused on the weekend of June 19th / 20th for the fourth round of this years challenge. The meeting will be held at the picturesque fast and flowing Dean Moor circuit nr Workington - hosted by West Cumbria MCC.

Current championship leaders, Zach Osborne (Bike it Cosworth Yamaha) and Evgeny Bobreshev (CAS Honda) continued their current form and extended their leads as the series reached the halfway stage at Lyng, in Norfolk yesterday. Whilst the Russian took a major step in the MX1 catagory by extending his lead over Stephen Sword (Buildbase CCM) to 33 points, (21 on the day), Osborne scored just one more point than his nearest rival, Jake Nicholls (HM Plant Red Bull KTM), who could easily of been on the top step of the podium, but for a small mistake in the opening moto.

Maxxis British Motocross Championship action returns to the Lyng circuit on Sunday June 13th.

The circuit just miles from Norwich is a favourite for teams and spectators where racing as always will be rough and tough.

AIROH SUPPORTS HONDA XTREME ACADEMY IN 2010
Honda Motor Europe is pleased to announce that Italian helmet manufacturer, Airoh, will be supporting its Xtreme Academy youth racing programme in 2010 with the provision of helmet prizes for first to fifth place in the overall championships in each country.

The Xtreme Academy, which has been devised to grow young talent aged 11-15 years on four-stroke machinery, is running in its inaugural year in five different countries including the UK, Sweden, South Africa, Italy and Finland.
