“Tom Wheatcroft is someone who will always be remembered for his determination and passion for motorsport.
"He was a great supporter of Bikers and the ACU, his loud and raucous laughter when somebody did something silly will always be remembered.
“Making Donington Park into a Grand Prix level circuit is probably what he was best known for as well as building up the amazing collection of race cars in the Donington Park Museum.
Jim Parker, Chairman of the ACU, would like to pass on his and the ACU’s condolences to Tom Wheatcroft’s family.
