Becky Cook aboard her Sherco rode to third place during the second round of the Women’s World Trials Championship at Isola in France last weekend.
Cook, who is from the Isle of Wight, took on the challenging sections presented to her and put together a solid performance. She achieved third place on the day which puts her into second place in the overall standings.
While the ladies were taking part in the second round of their Championship the Men were completing their final round. Britain’s Dougie Lampkin rode to seventh place on the day putting him into sixth in the overall standings.
The third and final round of the Women’s World Trials Championship will take place at Darfo Boario Terme in Italy on the 18thSeptember, the day before the Women’s and Men’s Trials Des Nations on the 19th 20th September respectively. Becky will be joined by fellow team members Joanne Coles and Emma Bristow in their bid to take 1st place once again on the Women's TDN podium.
