The successful pairing of John Lyne and Steve Kirwin will not be taking part in the Sidecar Des Nations due to personal circumstance.
They will be replaced by Scott Wilkinson and Dave Keane both of whom are vastly experienced. Wilkinson has competed in this event on numerous occasions and has been a consistent World Championship point scorer over the last six years. He has also finished second in the British Sidecar Championship on numerous occasions.
Keane has a wealth of experience having competed at British and World Championship level both as a driver and passenger. He is in a very small group of people who have scored points as both.
Martin Guilford, Team Manager said: “It is disappointing for John and Steve, the team and myself that they have had to withdraw from this year’s competition. However I am more than confident that Scott and Dave will be adequate replacements. Despite having ridden very little together this season they have obviously gelled quickly as was proved at the 'Ken Hall Trophy' meeting when they finished third best British crew and sixth overall.”
