It’s going to be a close call this weekend at Cardiff for the Speedway Grand Prix with Nicki Pederson chasing Jason Crump for the win.
Luck has not been on Pederen’s side this year losing 30 points to Crump thanks to a puncture in the semi-finals at Copenhagen.
He wants to keep breathing down the Aussie’s neck and will doing all he can to grab as many points as possible.
Pedersen said: "There are still a lot of points to race for, and if I suddenly get within reach of Jason again, it may be that he starts to get nervous, although we all know he is a very experienced rider. But I am not the only rider who has dreams of winning the World title, and the more we all push Jason, the greater the likelihood that he may be caught."
Crump has a 14 point lead to kick start his Saturday, with Emil Sayfutdinov on his heels.
