GSX-R Trophy takes on the world

Friday June 19, 2009 at 4:23pm

The sixth and seventh rounds of the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy will take place at the Donington Park round of World Superbikes on the 27th – 28th June, where the riders will have the opportunity to grace the world stage.

Runaway championship leader, Ross Connolly from Blackpool, will be determined to further increase his strangle hold on the Trophy Championship as well as showing the World Superbike paddock what he is capable of.

This is a superb opportunity for all the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy riders and their sponsors, as they will be on track following the World Superbike and Supersport stars.

There is a healthy amount of British riders on the both the World Superbike and Supersport grids which will bring in the crowds of fans. This will give a superb audience for the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy riders to entertain.

Connolly and Mark Cheetham, who is second in the Championship, have been pushing each other all the way, swapping paint and fairing bashing. They are thrilling to watch and one mistake from Connolly will see Cheetham seize the opportunity.

It’s all to play for and the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy can’t wait to get on track.
