The Trials & Enduro Committee are delighted to announce that Sammy Miller has kindly donated a splendid new trophy which will be awarded to a rider on a Classic British Machine who finishes all the rounds of the Sammy Miller Products series and looses the least number of marks whilst competing on the harder route.The cup will be presented annually, starting this year, and the three leading contenders for this award are at present Russell Jones, Peter Gaunt & Keith Gardener.The Committee ....
The Richmond clubs Scott Trial is on Saturday the 18th October.Entries are in from Dougie Lampkin looking for his third consecutive win, Takahisa Fujinami experiencing his first Scott, Graham Jarvis hoping to score his eighth win and his first since 2005 together with Wayne Braybrook trying for a second victory and Michael Brown and James Dabill going for their first win, makes for a fascinating Saturday of trial spectating.

Dougie Lampkin rode his second Colin Appleyard British Solo Trials Championship round in his native Yorkshire at Skipton on Sunday 5th October and won the tough event by a country mile. The multi World Trials Champion did not play any part in the final scoreline at the Bradford Motor Club event apart from taking 20 Championship points for his victory.

In conjunction with a recent Memo sent out to ACU Centres and National Organisers, the Trials & Enduro Committee confirm that the use of Telemetry (e.g. Wireless Communication) between a Rider and a Third party will not be permitted in ACU Trials in 2009.
This will be included in the 2009 Trials Standing Regulations and will take effect from Jan 1st of that year.

Despite not achieving the results expected both the Motocross of Nations and Trials des Nations Teams can be proud of their top four places against the World’s best. The Motocross of Nations Team, competing on home soil only missed out on a podium place by just one mark after each rider put in a 100% effort in front of thousands of fans. Tommy Searle recorded the squad’s highest finish, 3rd place and also enjoyed a superb fight back after a slow start in a different race. Team-m....
