The Trials & Enduro Committee will be holding National Licencing Seminars on 29th November 2008 & 10th January 2009.All Clerks of the Course and Stewards who hold National Licences that will expire on 31st December 2008 will be automatically invited to attend.Anyone who would like to apply to upgrade from a Regional to a National Licence, should contact Alison at the ACU Office.Tel 01788 566409 or alison@acu.org.uk....

Yeadon-Guiseley Motor Club Ltd staged Round 5 of the Colin Appleyard British Solo Trials Championship at Brimham Rocks, Summerbridge, on Sunday, August 2nd 2008. The weather changed the riding conditions on Sunday for the MacKenzie Trophy contenders after a dry and bright Saturday. Sunday morning brought the winds of change as rain softened the ground and mud became a major factor as tyres dragged a slimy coating onto the tough rocky sections. It made not a jot of difference to Dougie....

The Trials & Enduro Committee have received a number of reports relating to abuse directed at Observers.This behaviour is not acceptable and must cease.Attention is drawn to TSR36 and the Committee would urge Clerks of the Course to take the appropriate action if an incident is brought  to their attention.T & E Committee.....

John Collins, Trials & Enduro Committee Chairman is pleased to announce the Men’s ACU Trials des Nation Team for 2008. The team selection was made following the British Experts Trial at Carlisle on 26th July 2008 and represents a good mix of the experienced campaigners and members of past winning teams, as well as the young contenders for the future. With 3 riders inside the top 10 of the FIM SPEA World Championship and a fourth rider challenging one of those in the Colin Appleyard ....
