The number of entrants received for the 2007 National Road Rally at the close of entries, 25th May, is 488 and is 50% down on last year. At the last round in the Series, reigning British Champion Graham Jarvis won the event from Charnock electrician Shaun Morris who matched Jarvis with a final score of eight penalties. Only after two time penalties were added was the final score announced. On Sunday, under a blazing sun, Jarvis turned up the heat riding the Phil Evans devised course one gear up on his rivals.
