The 2007 Regulations for the Sammy Miller series have been changed to define Classes 1 - 6 as being:
"All major components including frame, forks, hubs, engines and gearboxes to be a silhouette of the original British manufactured parts which were available before the date of eligibility for the class concerned. It is also stated that Carburettors for all classes 1 to 6 must be of British manufacture".
For the ACU Classic series, the same rules apply for Class A - HOWEVER - the rule regarding carburettors should not have been included as it is accepted that in this series the machines in this class are determined by the riders to need optimum performance as they tend to be competing over more difficult sections, often incorporated to cater for the other classes.
Therefore - the British Carburettor rule will apply for the Sammy Series but NOT for the ACU Classic series.
All other regulations remain the same.
