A road closure at Fordstreet Bridge, Aldham is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2006 between the hours 07.00 Staurday to 21.00 on Sunday for three consecutive weekends or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst bridge surface and footway is renewed.
The alternative route will be via Westbound Traffic from Fordstreet Bridge: Head south east along A1124 then join A12 west towards Marks Tey then join A120 at Marks Tey in a westerly direction to Coggeshall then join B1024 at Coggeshall and head north towards A1124.
Eastbound traffic from Fordstreet Bridge: Head west A1124 towards White Colne then join B1024 at White Colne towards A120 in a southerly direction then join A120 at Coggeshall towards A12 then join Marks Tey A12 eastbound then exit A12 at Eight Ash Green rejoining the A1124.
The bridge closure does not effect anyone coming from Halstead/Earls Colne area.
