4th ROUND OF THE COLIN APPLEYARD BRITISH SOLO TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP

Current National Champion Graham Jarvis will be under pressure from James Dabill, current European Champion, and Isle of Man former champion Steve Colley who is always a force to be considered at any trial. Eighteen year old Michael Brown is also a contender, with Dabill and Sam Connor. All ride Beta machines, and could spring some shocks. 

Dan Thorpe has won both Expert classes but he meets Lynton's Joe Baker and British Class A Youth champion Sam Haslam as well as Sampson and Chris Pearson. Sheffield teenager Lee Sampson is also a key player in the thirty three strong Expert class. Alexz Wigg heads the non-championship Youth class who will ride the Expert course. Jack Challoner, Zac Sherwin and Louis Haley know the trials venue and should make an impact. 

The action commences at 7.45 am with documentation and scrutineering. 

Practice will start at 8.30 am for a two hour duration. The Youth and Expert classes will lead the trial off at 11.30 am. The course will be of three laps and twelve sections. Time allowance with be 5-1/2 hours. 

Entry to the event, on foot, carries a charge of £1.00, and each car will carry a charge of £5.00. Programmes will be free at the gate. 

Under no circumstances, apart from Guide Dogs, will dogs be admitted.
