Jim said “Once more my thanks go out to Steve Bostock and all the Officials of the NG Road Racing Club for providing another well organised and efficient race meeting. With the, small, first round teething problems encountered at Oulton Park behind us, the Academy Coaches were able to concentrate their efforts on assisting the Star Championship competitors on race preparation, set-up and track knowledge.
I’m sure their assistance throughout the Championship, will provide racers with a ‘shortcut’ to achieving their best results, proving the ACU’s commitment to keeping the cost of racing to a minimum.
At Oulton Park a few grey areas were found with the machines being used, but Round 2 showed that this has been comprehensively dealt with, to the satisfaction of both Teams and officials. Allowing Teams and riders to concentrate on the main task – enjoying the rewards of a successful lap of the fantastic Cadwell Park circuit.
