CHEADLE (STAFFS) AUTO CLUB

Wednesday March 9, 2016 at 3:55pm
The Cheadle (Staffs) Auto Club will be running the next of their 2016 Trials on Sunday 20 March.  This is will be the last ever trial run at Tittesworth as the Robinson family will be giving up the lease at the end of the month.

This will be a severe loss to trials in the Moorlands as the venue has been used for trials by a variety of local clubs for over 50 years and its unique features and terrain will be difficult to replace.

The trial will cater for all classes of machine and for all grades of rider from Novice and Beginners to Expert as well as Twinshock, British Bike over 40s, Youth A and B.

The Spring trial will be at Tittesworth Farm , Blackshaw Moor  near Leek, Staffordshire, set in the heart of the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands. The course will be aimed at giving everyone a good days sport and all riders will have a choice of either the Championship sections or the easier Clubman’s ones.  All sections will have dual routes, with all riders having the option to ride a 50/50 route if they wish to. The harder sections will be for the better riders and the easier for those wanting a less demanding route at the popular Tittesworth venue which is situated about one mile from Leek on the A53 Leek to Buxton road. Start time is 10.30 am and entries will as usual, close on the day.

This year the club will be running a club championship series with points being awarded on each of the routes at all of the trials. Trophies will be awarded to the first three at the conclusion of the series.

The Cheadle Auto Club has abolished membership fees for 2016 so anyone wanting to ride in one of their trials can turn up on the day and simply pay the entry fee and be given free membership of the club. You will still need to hold an ACU licence which can be obtained at the trial but apart from that there will be no fuss and no extra cost to you.

The club will have a list of the unique numbers that you will need in order to get your 2016 ACU Trials Registration/Licence which will be issued free of charge on request for anyone entering the trial.

Full details of all trials are contained in TMXN Regs Available and on Trials Central or contact Peter Beardmore on 0781 0416 517
