Just four weeks to 2016 British Quad Cross Championship deadline
The clock is ticking for riders wanting to register for the 2016 British Champinship, with entries officially closing on February 29th!

And with two thirds of the places already filled, if you are planning to enter its time to get a move on! (Links to the entry form and regs are at the bottom)

The 2016 series promises to be just as exciting as last year, with 2015's top five riders confirmed - Paul Holmes, Justin Reid, Dean Colhoun, Carl Bunce and George Callaway.

There are some exciting young additions to the series this year, including Leon Rogers, Dafydd Davies and Domantas Vasnys.

And with the likes of Oli Sansom, Mark McLernon, Luke Cooper, David Cowan, Bailey Edwards, James Bevan and Jack Raeburn all entered the field has got strength in depth too.

Once again the series will be contested over six rounds, each comprising of three races. The entry fee for the full series has been frozen at £399.

The 2016 Championship will also see some changes, including a revised point scoring system. The Championship will revert to the traditional 25 points for a win system currently used by the solo and sidecar British Championships.

In addition prize money will now be paid to registered riders at each round, instead of at the end of the season (providing adequate sponsorship can be raised).

As well as the main British Championship, there will once again be an Under 21 Championship, plus the Nations Cup and the Manufacturers Cup.

New this year will be the Rookie Cup (for riders competing in the full series for the first time), and the Vet Cup (for riders over 30).

The dates and venues for the 2016 Championship are as follows

3 April – Cusses Gorse (NORA) 30 April – Desertmartin (QRI) 29 May – Armthorpe (NORA) 17 July – Pontrilas (NORA) 24 July – Dean Moor (NETT) 2 October – Canada Heights (SIDCUP) IMPORTANT: Please note that to qualify for Championship points and to receive any prize money riders MUST enter the WHOLE championship BEFORE the closing date. The closing date for entries is 29th February.

Wildcard places will be available at some rounds (if the series is not already fully subscribed) however, please note that Wildcard riders will not receive prize money or score championship points.
