British Youth Track Racing Championship set for change in 2016
Following recent Land Access issues suffered by the Norwich New Stars Club, the British Youth Track Racing Championship event has now been moved to a new venue.

With the new race season only a few weeks away, the ACU Track Racing Committee have secured a new Organiser for this prestigious meeting which will undoubtedly showcase the next generation of Track Racing stars battling for National honours.

The 2016 ACU British Youth Track Racing Championship will now be hosted by the Lancashire Off-Road Grasstrack Association (LOGA) on the weekend of the 6th and 7th August at a venue to be confirmed shortly. Saturday 6th August will feature the Youth Championships alongside the British Under-21 Championship with a Club programme full of action packed racing taking place the following day.

Speaking on behalf of the club, Rachel Cox commented ‘when we heard about the possible issues with the original Norwich New Stars event, as a club we all felt that following our successful 2015 season, we are in a good position to run this event. As a club we are looking forward to putting on a great meeting for our future stars of tomorrow to show their talents on the national stage’.

Dickie Staff, Chairman of the Track Racing Committee said ‘Although it is unfortunate that the Norwich New Stars have suffered Land Access issues, we are incredibly grateful to LOGA for picking up this important National championship and I am sure they will put an amazing event’.
