Yes the Worlds best riders are back in town for Sheffield 2016
The FIM have now officially confirmed the riders competing in the FIM World Indoor X-Trial Championship they are as follows, 18 times World Champion Toni Bou, Ex World Champion Adam Raga, Ex World Champion Albert Cabestany, Jeroni Fajardo, Ex World Champion Takahisa Fujinami, Alexandre Ferrer, Eddie Karlsson and our wild card this year British Champion James Dabill.
Jeroni Fajardo has jumped ship from Beta and will be making his World Indoor X-Trial Championship debut at Sheffield onboard the new Vertigo alongside team mate James Dabill. Adam Raga will also be making his World Indoor x-Trial Championship debut on board the Jordi Tarres developed TRS, Adam seems to have taken quite quickly to the new bike, its going to be interesting to see how he copes with Martin Lampkin’s mega tough sections onboard the new bike.
Half time spectacular, Danny MacAskill is previewing his Drop & Roll World Tour at Sheffield. Danny is the guy that does back flips off trees for fun, he rides his bike along the top of fences, why, because he can, he’s been seen on the top of old red telephone boxes and he makes death defying jumps that a normal person would never consider. Danny and his team are the Worlds Number One cycle stunt team, they perform all around the world and we are very lucky to have them at Sheffield in January.
Tickets are on sale at last years prices for the longest running spectacular at Sheffield Arena. The FIM 2016 World Indoor X-Trial Championship is back in town on Saturday the 9th January 2016.
