Maxxis British Sidecar Cross heads to Wakes Colne on Sunday 6th September
This weekend the Halstead MCC will host the penultimate round of the 2015 MAXXIS British Sidecarcross championships at their popular Little Loveney Hall circuit in Essex.

The event has attracted nearly thirty of the country’s top sidecar crews which should produce good racing right down the field. Championship leaders, and defending champions, Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain, are unbeaten this year and have just returned for the Grand Prix in Switzerland where they finished an excellent third so they are obviously the team to beat. In fact the last time they were beaten at Little Loveney Hall was in 2012!

Currently they lead the championship by forty points from second placed Brett Wilkinson / Steve Kirwin. In third place are Simon Bradford / Luke Peters a further thirty one points behind.

Another crew who have been on the podium in the last three rounds are Nick Jarvis / Dan Chamberlain who are lying in fourth place just thirteen points behind Bradford.

Also making their first appearance in this year’s championship will be Jack Etheridge / Scott Grahame who have recently had excellent results in the IMBA races.

Included within the championship races are the National Expert class which is currently led by Tony Grahame / Scott Lloyd who are over fifty points ahead of the second placed Irish crew Gary Moulds / Alan Gardner.

Also included in the full day’s race programme are the very popular NGR championship races and solo support races. Practice is due to start at 10 o’clock with the first race immediately after the end of practice. Adult entry is £10 with children under 14 and OAPs £5.

The address of the circuit is: Little Loveney Hall, Wakes Colne, Essex and for those with Sat Navs the postcode for the spectator’s entrance is CO8 5AP.
