Gold Cup is shaping up to be the biggest in recent memory
With just 10 days to go until the 2015 Oliver's Mount Gold Cup opens it's doors to race fans, we are very excited to update you all with our rider line up ahead of the races on September 12th/13th.

Who's entered:

John McGuinness headlines the event after a very successful year taking his 23rd Isle of Man TT win in the summer, McGuinness is back at top form and looking to add the Gold Cup to his trophy cabinet.

He will not have it his own way though as William Dunlop is also making the trip to Scarborough along with Ryan Farquhar and Ian Lougher. Oliver's Mount crowd favourites Lee Johnston and Dean Harrison will certainly be in contention but everyone will have to be on top form to beat circuit specialist Ivan Lintin. The 2014 Gold Cup champion will be focused on retaining this title.

Throw into the mix Bruce Anstey and your guess is as good as ours on who we think will win. Maybe it won't be these guys though. Perhaps James Cowton, Dan Hegarty, Jamie Coward, Daley Mathison, Dan Cooper or Davy Morgan can tame the 2.5 mile circuit and land on the top step of the podium.

There are 2 more riders who could certainly make an impact.....

Guy Martin is entered, and depending on how his recovery goes with injuries he recently picked up in Ulster, he will be there with just one thing in mind. Winning the Gold Cup. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!

Finally Michael Dunlop wants to race! The only thing stopping him right now is being able to prepare a bike in time. We certainly hope he can beat the clock because no one attacks Oliver's Mount in quite the same way as MD3 and we certainly hope that he can get a bike prepared in the next 10 days.

 Sidecars:

The entry list of solos is exciting but it is also the sidecar entry that looks fantastic.

Tim Reeves is coming to Oliver's Mount with the simple goal of breaking the sidecar lap record. That is something we can't wait to see. To do that though, Reeves is going to have to get ahead of Dave Molyneux, Lee Crawford, Ian Bell and Conrad Harrison amongst others.
