The 2015 RHL Weston Beach Race will see a host of military displays at this year’s event, not only do we have the amazing Royal Marines and the Royal British Legion on display over the three days on the promenade, we also have Monmouthshire based ‘Tank School’ who offer TANK & PUB, SPECIAL FORCES TANK DRIVING, EXCLUSIVE TANK DRIVING and CORPORATE TANK DRIVING days at the base in Usk.
The guys will be bringing along the ‘American Sniper’ Hummer and one of their 15 ton tanks, good news is you will be able to get up close and personal on the day and check out the inside and outside of a British military vehicle.
Alistair Scott the owner of Tank School explained, “the tank we bring along is around 15 tons and can carry 12 armed troops. Tank School has been going for almost 10 years and is based in Usk, Monmouthshire around 40 minutes from Bristol and 40 minutes from Cardiff.
We have taught everyone in all age groups including children as young as 9 years old, when it comes to tanks everyone loves them. Our passion for tank driving means we hope to teach you correctly and have some awesome fun throughout the day.”
