Parker and Clark take victory at Blaxhall
Sunday saw the Woodbridge DMCC host a motocross meeting at their Blaxhall Circuit near Woodbridge. After the recent wet weather the track staff had worked tirelessly to ensure the circuit was in great condition ready for the 11 race programme.

With a line-up of 120 riders, the Allcomers were split into A and B groups, while the meeting also featured the fifth round of the NGR Championship for over 30's.

The Allcomers A Group featured some great racing all day long between top local riders, Luke Parker, Jason Morland and Declan Whittle. It was to be Luke Parker who took the overall in the A Group after claiming second in the opening race, followed by two race wins. Second overall was Declan Whittle who after claiming victory in the opening race had to settle for third in the other two races. Jason Morland's three consistent rides saw him finish with a third and two seconds for third overall. Fourth and fifth overall went to Adam Day and Sam Mitchell. Finishing the day as the top Junior in every race was Mark Hunt in sixth overall ahead of a number of Expert riders.

In the Allcomers B Group it was Roger Frean who claimed the overall victory after finishing second in the opening race before going onto take race wins in the remaining two races. Second overall went to race one winner Shane Brown on the little KTM 150. In third overall it was Jamie Hardman with Oliver Rippon and Glen Porter rounding out the top 5 overall.

The NGR Championship also produced some close racing which saw the top 3 riders battling at the front with Tim Clark dominating the class by taking three race wins ahead of John Hinz in second place overall and Liam Walker in third. Fourth and fifth overall went to Craig Marsden and David Lockwood.

The day was rounded off with a Grand Final and Consolation Final, in the Grand Final Jason Morland took the early race lead and looked comfortable at the front until a stone caused his chain to come off mid race allowing Luke Parker to take the lead and the race win. Morland managed to get the chain back on and finish in second place ahead of Sam Arbon in third, fourth and fifth places went to Adam Day and Declan Whittle.

In the Consolation Final it was Paul Mudd who took the race win ahead of Connor Foy and Roger Frean. Fourth and fifth places went to John Bavin and Christopher Freeman.
