The North East Motorcycle Racing Club have joined with the Darlington and District Motor Club to revive the Battle of Britain meeting at Croft Circuit. These races were very popular in the 60’s and 70’s prior to the closure of the venue in 1981.

Croft was a Canadian Bomber Base during World War 2 and contact has been made with the Royal Canadian Air Force to commemorate their efforts and achieve an input from that organisation.
