Strong Start to the British Evo Series at Frome
Sunday 26th April saw the opening round of the British Evo Series supported by Dextra Group PLC take place at Ashdown Woods, Frome. With over 90 riders competing across the 5 championship class, there was lots of close racing.

In the Evo125 class it was Phil Lewis who took a clean sweep of class wins to claim the overall ahead of Dean Batchelor in second and Rob Mead in third. Fourth and fifth overall went to Dean Warren and Richard Chinn.

The Evo250 class would see Jamie Skuse claim 3 class wins on route to the overall class victory ahead of Jordan Owen and Daniel Brunt, while Alex Morris and Dean Stutt took fourth and fifth overall.

The racing in the Evo500 class saw plenty of close racing with Jason Aylett claiming the overall victory by just 2 points ahead of Andy Tomson and Jack Gribble. Fourth and fifth place went to Gary Chappell and William Ell.

In the Evo Clubman class it was James Dance who claimed victory ahead of Michael Caddick and John Ciapcott in third, fourth and fifth overall went to Nick Ponting and Pat Jackson.

Keith Hanson claimed victory in the Evo Over 50 class ahead of Martin King and Greg Cox in third with Trevor Sheppard in fourth and Richard Maisey in fifth.

The second round of the British Evo Series will take place on the 21st June at Milton MX Park near Northampton.
