If you want to do anything in life you need qualifications…..it is no different if you want to be a road racer !!!. So to deal with this we are running our training and assessments at Pembrey and Castle Combe. So what ever time of the year you want to take that first step, we are here to cater for you. The initial steps are easy and we at NG Road Racing will guide you though the process, from the initial form filling…through the class room and on track assessments right up to the time you get out on grid. Even then the help and guidance doesn’t stop as our officials, technical staff and riders are there week in week out to help you get the most out of your chosen sport. And remember NG Road Racing has over 45 years of experience in racing……our experience will help you in getting racing.
As part of the ACU’s ongoing policy of rider development and education, and in line with the requirements laid down in the 2015 ACU Handbook, all first time applicants for a road racing licence, must undergo a class room course and a basic riding ability test.
As well as the classroom course and multiple choice tests, you will also have to show that you have basic riding ability, and that needs to be assessed too.
As ever as part of our ongoing want to promote racing within the UK we are offering a number of opportunities on the dates listed above for riders to obtain their racing licence.
The classroom courses are run by our qualified and vastly experienced clerks of the course, and that is allied to the on track assessments that is monitored by not only qualified instructors, but also with guidance by top UK riders with proven racing experience.
