National Motorcycle Museum Club Event’s Diary 2015

Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 11:54am
During 2015 the National Motorcycle Museum would like the UKs motorcycle clubs & organizations to become part of an exciting calendar of events that we have planned. We want the National Motorcycle Museum to be at the heart of club activities and this participation can take a number of exciting & cost effective forms

CLUB DAY’S

Many old vehicle clubs already hold their meetings and “ride ins” at the Museum given its convenient geographical location & free parking. What better place to meet than at the largest collection of British motorcycles in the world!

What a lot of organizers don’t realize is how much value we can add to make their event really special and guarantee a high turnout. Here are just a few examples below-

Museum Admission Discount-Discounts of up to 50% on Museum admission.

Guided tours-Exclusive guided tours just for club members.

Not only this but maybe there’s a special race or road machine that relates to a club or organization that they would like to see running? All they have to do is ask!

REGULAR CLUB NIGHT’S

An increasing number of clubs within reasonable traveling distance of the Museum are having their regular meeting nights with us. These meeting nights are facilitated within Hall 1 of the Museum where you are surrounded by dozens of the most iconic machines from the last century! Like any “conventional” meeting place the Museum can supply both bar & catering facilities.

What might surprise organizers is that the cost of holding a meeting at the Museum will be no more than attending their average pub function room, if not cheaper!

Bob Badland, Secretary of the VMCC Midland section stated “we were really struggling for attendance at our traditional rugby club meeting place. In just 4 months, since moving our monthly meetings to the National Motorcycle Museum we have seen attendance increase by over 300 % & the costs are lower too!”

SPECIAL MEETINGS, AGM’S & PARTIES

The Museum is also the ideal venue for holding club committee meetings, AGMs or parties. Holding an early evening AGM in one of the Museum Halls is an exceptionally cost effective option which will also guarantee larger numbers to attend at what are traditionally difficult events in which to generate interest. Don’t forget that the National Motorcycle Museum is also an award-winning venue with conferencing and events facilities. The conference venue has 13 purpose built suites available, including the Wardroom, seating small parties of up to 20 guests, and the Imperial Suite which can host 1000.
