The ACU Trials and Enduro Committee will be running an U23 Enduro Training weekend on the 10/11 Jan 2015, the event is aimed at all U23 riders that are considering putting their names forward for the ACU British U23 ISDE Selection or the ACU U23 Enduro Training Squad. The event will be hosted by the ACU at their HQ in Rugby and organised by the ACU Trials and Enduro Committee Member, Dusty Martin.
The weekend will consist of Nutritional, Motivational, Bike Prep and Fitness lectures, and will include a fitness test and the opportunity for a day’s training on the Sunday, with instruction from 4 times World Champion Paul Edmondson. The event is aimed primarily at U23s, and will be at no cost to the rider, all that is expected is that attendees can arrive before 7am on the Saturday with a fully prepared bike and be prepared to put their best efforts into all the activities. Potential attendees should note that this weekend may be considered, when selection to the ACU U23 Enduro Training Squad is being made.
Applications are to be made strictly by email only, on a first come first served basis, up to a maximum of 20 riders, riders over 23 may apply but will only get places if spaces are not filled by U23 riders. Emails should be sent to
gbisdetm@yahoo.co.uk detailing applicants name, return email address (if different) date of birth, if the applicant is to accompanied and by whom, any special dietary requirements or reasons why you shouldn't partake in a weekend of arduous activity.
It is hoped that there will be high demand for this event therefore applications will close
on 20th December, successful applicants will be notified shortly afterwards.
