Rhayader MC’s “Simon Rees Memorial Hare ‘n Hounds” will take place THIS Sunday (5th October). This is the twelfth year this event has run and again will be held at the Club’s Cwmythig Hill venue, near Rhayader, Mid-Wales.
The club has set out an enjoyable and easy lap that includes parts of the popular hillside motocross course at Cwmythig, as well as nearby fields making up a lap of approximately 3.5 miles.
There are classes for: Expert, Clubman, Over 40’s, Over 50’s, Sportsman, Ladies, Twin-Shock and Sidecars. As well as the “Simon Rees Memorial Cup” that will be awarded to the Best Local Sportsman rider, new for 2014 will be the “Trevor Evans Memorial Cup” that will be awarded to the Best Clubman Sidecar crew.
Entries are still available in all classes, so please support us as proceeds will be going to charity.
Overnight camping is available at Cwmythig, the site also boasts a large hard-standing paddock and great viewing of the circuit.
The event will start at 11.00am and the duration will either be 2.5 hours or 3 hours in length.
