This coming weekend will see the 2014 edition of the ACU BYMX Team Event head to the sandy circuit of Blaxhall near Woodbridge on October 11th and 12
th. With 160 riders from around the country there is sure to be plenty of exciting racing over the two days.
The ACU BYMX Team Event is a unique event where eight teams from around the country come together to compete for the honour of being the called the Team Champions. With the teams being made of riders for the 65cc youth class all the way though the youth ranks to the Adult class.
Reigning champions Team CJSC from the Cambridgeshire area will be looking to retain their crown, while 7 other teams battle to take the title away from them. Local team Norfolk and Suffolk Juniors will be hoping to the produce a strong performance on their local circuit and claim one of the podium positions.
Across the classes there are a number of highly talented National graded youth riders, including Tom Grimshaw, Max Bickers, Brett Pocock and Ben Clark in the Big Wheel 85cc class. While in the Adult class regulars to the Blaxhall Circuit Luke Benstead, Shaun Southgate and Luke Parker will be looking to dominate the class for their respective teams, but will face tough competition from Brad Todd representing Team Cumbria and Team Gest Hastings Dan Arnold.
With five action packed races per class across the weekend there is sure to be plenty of action when it all kicks off at 9:30 am on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission fee for the event is £5 per Adult per day and accompanied Children Free. The Blaxhall circuit can be found just off the A12 using the Postcode IP17 1LG.
