The penultimate round of the Northern OSET Cup saw the
well-travelled series venture to another new venue - the Walcott Hall Estate in
Scunthorpe. Over the four years the event has been run, they have visited
fifteen different venues, giving youngsters the opportunity to experience a
variety of challenges.
The last round proved another success as 25 youngsters took
part – including a number of first timers. Catering for the absolute
beginner through to national level riders is no mean feat! All the
children left the day with huge smiles, trophies, medals and a great sense of
achievement.
Toyne from Richtoy Motorsport in Scunthorpe, who supported
the event, said: “It was a great day that was well supported by local
riders. We had lots of people asking when the next one was on and were
watched by a few families looking to get involved in the sport. I’d like
to say a big thank you to Mr and Mrs Ledgerwood, for the venue, magnificent
supply of tea & coffee, barbeque and cheeky jeep rides for the kids. ”
