Barry Lee Evans is chasing two titles in the fourth and final round of the Crewe and South Cheshire club’s championships at Tonfanau on August 24.

He trails former 401-1300cc champion, Martin Powell, by just a single point going into the final three races of the season of the big bike class.

Evans is also in the hunt for the club’s Steel Frame title, where the top four riders are all covered by just eight points.

Nick Jefferies has 58 points, followed closely by Lewis Clark 52, Mark Robinson 51 and Evans 50.

Three points separate the top two sidecar crews, with Tony and Martin Cunliffe on 76 and Charlie Morphet and Paul Haliburton on 73.

Kimberley Rose has already wrapped up the 125GP championship, but another top female racer, Caron Roberts, holds a slender five-point advantage over Dave Edwards in the Forgotten Era up to 250cc class.

Practice starts at 9.0am with racing underway at noon. Adult admission is just £6.00, with children under 16, accompanied by a paying adult, free.
