Maxxis British Sidecarcross Championship heads to Toddington for Round 5 on Sunday 17th August
After an absence of sixteen years top level sidecarcross returns to Old Park farm Toddington for round five of the 2014 Maxxis British Sidecar Championship this weekend. The event will be hosted by the Luton and DMCC.

With four rounds having been completed the defending champions, Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain lead the series by sixty three points from Richard Jenkins / Dan Chamberlain. In third place are Daniel and Joe Millard who suffered with engine problems at the last round and landed them with their first DNF of the year. Two weeks ago they suffered similar problems in Estonia but last weekend in Latvia they had two excellent results and are back on form.

Just nineteen points behind the Millards are the winners of the last round in Lyng Brett Wilkinson / Steve Kirwin. Injury problems over the past two weeks have hindered their progress a bit but now they are back on form and raring to go.

Also among the twenty something top riders are Jack Etheridge / Scott Grahame, Simon Bradford / Luke Peters and from Ireland Neil Campbell / Ross Graham.

As well as the sidecar championship races there will be local solo experts, juniors, O40 and O50.

Practice starts at 09.30 and first race at 10.30. The track will be signed from just off J12 on the M1 motorway and for those with sat navs the nearest post code is LU5 6HE.
