Blaxhall Celebrates 50 years of Motorcycle Events on Sunday 31st August
This weekend the Woodbridge and DMCC will be staging a motocross meeting at their Blaxhall circuit near Woodbridge on Sunday 31st August. Sunday’s meeting will be the clubs last event of the 2014 season has been organized to celebrate fifty years of motorcycling activities at the sandy Blaxhall Circuit.

Sunday's event will see an exciting 12 race programme featuring some of the counties best Expert and Junior rider battling for victory in the Allcomers class. The Allcomers class includes British Championship riders Lewis Tombs, Mitchell Lewis, Luke Benstead, Shaun Southgate, Sid Evans, along with Chelmsford brothers Ryan and Lewis Houghton.

There is also a round of the popular NGR over 30's Championships, and three races for pre 1970 machinery. The overall winner of this will receive one of the late Dave Bickers prestigious trophies.
Many former stars of the Eastern region, from the 1960's and 70's have been invited to attend a reunion and chat on the day. They include former British champions, John Banks, Jonathan Wright, Freddie and Geoff Mayes and Mark Banks.

During the lunch time period the club have organised a reunion of Past Masters, who include a host of former favourites such as Jim Aim, Norman Messenger, John Pease, John Louis, Tony Davey, Stuart Nunn and many more.

The Woodbridge and DMCC club are also looking for Marshals for this event. All Marshal's will receive £30 towards their expenses. Anybody wishing to Marshal at this event should contact Debbie Blyth on 07963 118971 during the evenings
