The ACU sends it’s condolences at this very sad time to Christine Barclay and family after the sad passing of Ian Barclay this week.
Ian was heavily involved in Grasstrack as a top National rider during the 1970’s and early 80’s before becoming a well-known Grasstrack Promoter. Ian promoted of such events as the ‘Ace of Aces’ until the end of the 90’s.
More recently Ian has been involved in the sport of Motocross with the running of the
Cusses Gorse Moto X Park in Wiltshire with his son Justin.
Ian Barclay will sadly be missed by many within both Track Racing and Motocross world.

We are so heartbroken to announce that on the 13th May our wonderful loved husband and Dad was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly, aged 66.
Much loved husband to Christine, greatest father to Julian and Justin and loving father-in-law to Pip.
Life will never be the same.
A service in Celebration of his life will be held on 2nd June 2014 at 12.15pm at:
