Yeadon-Guiseley host round 4 of the National S3 Parts Championship on the 13th April

The fourth event in the National S3 Parts Championship takes place in North Yorkshire, just, and as traditional as ever the Chris carter Trophy Trial has attracted one hundred and thirty two entries.

Of that number seventy are on the championship course. The other sixty competitors will ride a miler forty section route.

Clerk of Course Andrew Carter and his assistant Danny Cockshott have spent many weekends giving the thirty five mile one lap course a major facelift. The legendary Dob Park hosts the first nine sections. The changes come up next after crossing the A59 trunk with it speed cameras and patrolling police. Ian's Rocks is just a large field, full of -rocks. Clockensyke Farm, two miles on through Darley offers a stream, climbs, some rocky other just slippery grass banks. Both groups are new Carter additions. The run in crosses no-go groups at High Snowden and it's rock steps then sections at Crabtrees before going for the finale nine in Brown's Wood.

Yorkies Chris Pearson, Guy Kendrew and Richard Timperley head the points with Shropshire's Shaun Fox and Liam Walker in the mix. In the Over Forties Falcon's Simon Tyas will be working his Repsol 4rt to hold Tony Scarlett, Darren Wasley and gas rig technician Roger Williams.

James Stones will give his 125cc MRS Sherco some hard work because Navenby's Chris Alford and Daniel Tuley are riding in top form. Darren Mitchell leads the field off at 9.32 am. The observing is TSR 22b. Nearest petrol is Otley and Pool.
