South Shropshire MCC host ACU Luscombe Mitsubishi Leeds National Youth A & B Championship round two

The South Shropshire club stage two championship trials on Sunday at their brand new Hope Bowdler venue. The Club will also stage, in parallel to the Ladies championship, the second event in the Youth Class A and B championship series. Thirty riders, in two age group classes, will ride the Gaerstone Farm trials course.

Class A championship leader Dan Peace will travel from his Kirkbymoorside home after a long drive to Italy and back. He won the first round of the European Under 17's championship so now leads British and Euro Championships. Class B champion last year Porlock's Tom Hooper will test Dan again on Sunday. Jack Peace rode the same course in Italy and finished eighth. Telford's Thomas Minta will put the pressure on Peace and Hooper in the entry of eleven riders.

In Class B twenty contestants battle for points. Truro youngster Toby Martyn starts favourite from Stafford's Sam Yeomans and Jack Peace. The riders liable to rock the boat at Ripon gamekeeper's son Sam Johnson and consistent Wooten Under Edge youngster Tom Culliford.

The action starts at 10.30 am.
