Bristow Dominates ACU Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Ladies and Girls Trials Championship Third Round

British trials champion Emma Bristow dominated the third round of the ACU Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Ladies and Girls Champion at Low North Park on Sunday leaving Joanne Coles and Becky Cook to fight for runner-up position.  MRS Sherco teamster Bristow leads Isle of Wight former champion Cook by five points. Fourth place was taken by Nikita Smith who will perform a solo free fall parachute jump for cystic fibrosis charities on May 11.

Navenby teenager Louise Alford headed Class A Youths from Bristol fifteen year old Victoria Payne. Barnsley Class B rider Megan Savage just contained Telford’s auburn haired Alice Minta and Gabby Whitham. The class was a hotbed of action with Didcot girl Alicia Robinson, Richmond’s Niamh Richardson and Isle of Man championship newcomer Sophie-May Hardie along with Richmond’s Beth Watling.

Only three youngsters contested Class C which was won by Bisley’s Hannah Moore from Consett girl Amy Turpin with Scarborough’s Claire Collinson. Isle of Man Police Officer Saskia Baxter stormed the Adult Inter class repeating her two previous victories. Saskia will ride the Manx Two Day sidecar trial with her sister Ealish !! Thornton le Dale seventeen year old A Level student Kate Hunter had to be encouraged to enter firmly convinced she would not be able to match her rivals. She did, leaving Kate Bullock and Robyn Alderson to salvage the lower points.

The Leamngton Victory M.C.C. & L.C. will stage Round Four on June 1.
