Entries are pouring for our first round at Mepal on March 16, including British champion Paul Holmes, who will go head-to-head with club champion Luke Cooper in the Expert class. Other top names already confirmed in the class, with just over a week to go before online entries close, include Carl Bunce, Stef Murphy, George Callaway and Oli Sansom.
Most classes are already throwing up some interesting match-ups. In the Riverside Under 23 class, rising Scottish star Murray Graham will go up against many of last year's regulars. The 15-year old won the adult support classes with both NETT and QRS last year.
The 250 youth class, which this year also doubles up as an ACU British Championship, is once again popular and is very close to being over subscribed. In the 250 Open class club champ Connor Fitzgerald will take on Estonia champion Martin Adamson, plus Bailey Edwards, amongst others. In the 250 Mods last year's runner up Dafydd Davies will face a fresh challenge this year from Ayrton Knowles and George Oliver.
The 100 Open class is shaping up to be a belter with reigning champ Josh Birch, plus Marcus Sprason, back and facing challenges from several riders with winning pedigrees in other classes including 100 Mod champ Catrin Davies and 50cc stars Alfie Walker and Woody Jackson.
In the Masters, another class very close to full, Ed Davies is back to defend his title with Ant Barrett and last year’s runner up Darren Bridge his main opposition.
